Mrs. Teresa V. Jackson, after 62 seasons of life, "Dozed into Life Everlasting" on Sunday afternoon, September 8th, 2019 in Wichita, Kansas.
Teresa Virginia (Terrill) Jackson was born on April 2nd, 1957 in Kansas City, Missouri. This birth was a special one, being that her mother’s birthday was also April 2nd. Teresa was born to Herman and Isabell Terrill; she was the fifth child out of ten children. Teresa had a love for basketball. She played throughout high school!! She loved Magic Johnson and the Lakers!! Teresa was baptized in 1980 in Sedalia MO, at Eastside COC.
She married the love of her life, Garry Jackson on August 29th, 1981. To their union three children were added, Jessica, Andrea, and Joshua!! Anyone who truly knew Teresa knows that her children meant the world to her and she would do anything to protect them. Teresa worked for Farmland Foods for almost 25 years, she was planning to retire January 2020!!
Teresa enjoyed working out, going down south (if you truly knew her, then you know what that means), and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved talking on the phone, catching up with to her coworkers, sisters, mom, and daughters(while watching The Haves and Have Nots or Greenleaf). Teresa had a natural joy for life, she always had a smile on her face!! She is gone, but never forgotten. She will live on forever in the hearts of her loved ones.
Teresa was proceeded in death by her Father, Herman Terrill. Those left to cherish her memory, her husband of 38 years, Garry Jackson. Daughters Jessica (Robert) and Andrea (Cartez). Son Joshua (Tina). Mother Isabell Terrill. Sisters: Mary, Marcina, Sally, Crystal, and Elmyra. Brothers: Phillip, William (Tammy), Alan (Delene), Anthony, and Stacy (Ruthie). Best Friend/Sister: Karen Enyard. Bonus daughter: Clairlina. Grandchildren: Marcus, Mahogany, Cartez Jr, Kailyn, Ezekiel, Aliyah, Malakai, and Chandler. A host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and Friends.
