Obituary

Cheryl McCullough after 52 seasons with us, heard the fluttering of Angels Wings on April 27, 2020. 


Cheryl Lynn McCullough was born on April 12, 1968 to Leonard Collins Jr. and Bobbie Ann Kelly. Cheryl was the oldest child of two children. 

Cheryl was educated in the USD 259 school system and she went on to receive an Associate’s Degree from Friends University.

Cheryl worked as a Para professional, while pursuing her teaching degree. She loved her work and loved seeing how her students flourished.

Her passions were her three children. Her oldest son David is a 5th ranked National Wrestler, and is now currently in Marine Corp Boot Camp.

Terzea graduated from West where she was a cheerleader and actress and is going to Butler Community College in the fall.

Her youngest son AJ attends West High where he is in Varsity Basketball and AAU Basketball and the school football team.

Cheryl loved her children and her husband Audell; he worked hard and took care of his family.

She was preceded in death by her Mother Bobbie Ann Kelly, her grandmother; Georgia Green Brooks, and her uncle; Clifford E. Compton,

Cheryl is survived by her loving husband; Audell McCullough,

her children; David Kelly, Audell McCullough, Jr., Terzea McCullough,

and her brother Rodney Kelly,

her aunts Ernestine Curtis, Carolyn Marzett, Penny Goodman, and Ruby Williams.
